« Say No to cheese »

Here you will find portraits of humans only — mostly with a focus on the face or more exactly: on the physiognomy of the model shown. My direct, hyper-real captures of a moment are usually free from distraction due to the lack of accessories and hence lead the viewer to the essence of portraiture: the expression of the model in the moment of individual perception by the viewer.

Why no street photography, plant pictures, landscape or architecture photography? Why no nude art, no action or Lomo shootings? Direct, frugal and emotionally affecting portraits of humans interests me by far the most. Within the philosophy section I will explain why this is the case for me.
